I want to thank you again for the wonderful experience of trance dance in Guatemala! For me it was an incredible learning experience that came with the added bonus of personal healing on a very deep level.

In giving myself over to the dance, behind the privacy of my bandana, I was able to delve into myself in a way I had never experienced before. Thanks to your music selections old emotions were allowed to come and dance with me once more, and somehow by dancing them in the safety of the sacred space you provided, I was able to release them through my body in a way I have never been capable of doing with words alone.

While I’m experienced with the shamanic journey, the idea of Tantric shamanism was a new concept to me. I discovered that by bringing the body into function as part of the act of journeying, it took me deeper into the journey and I experienced it with my entire being. This takes my shamanic work to another level.

In addition to all of the dancing, journeying and healing I also had the pleasure of joining you and your lovely partner Maria on the extension to Tikal. In me that was a journey into another realm! Not only did we travel into the jungle and see monkeys, but we were able to travel back in time at the ruins we visited. Doing ceremony at these ancient sites I could feel the Spirits of the place moving in me. It was an awesome time spent with GREAT people!! I’m looking forward to returning in 2012 with the group again!

Thank you for the night of trance dance and didgeridoo... it was quite an experience! One that won't be forgotten really. What I remember mostly is feeling joy...I couldn't help but smile as I danced. Especially when I felt that rattling with the music....I don't know, but I just love the sound of the rattle... it makes me feel more integrated with...I’m not sure I can define what, but something.

I had trance danced one time before, but this experience was completely different, more so because of the amount of us that joined together. I liked being able to dance with others and their energy, and dancing alone as well. Just taking in the whole conglomeration of sounds transported me into somewhere that was not in a building on us1. It was intense, so just now I’m really able to take it all in.

I was sent to you somehow...I have been many places...looked for many teachers but none had what you have...You have IT in the skin because we saw it coming from inside with unsurpassed natural...I have studied so much to finally realized this week end that one cannot teach at one level and be at another one...I have been learning at another level without fully bringing my own self to such level...So many studies made me feel that a life in the light was beyond my reach because so much was asked...but you gracefully reminded me that I was to be of service in my own level... I can never look at chocolate the same way again! I still feel the jungle is with me. What a life changing experience. I have notice several changes in me: I am enjoying my son all the time-not just when he is being good. We want to just be together and go to the zoo. I have noticed that even when I'm standing in line to buy X-mas gifts, I have a smile on my face and when some people see me they just smile back. I have taught my son to play and care for his power animal- a dragon. Even though he didn't retrieve his animal in the under world, it's very real to him.
I can describe myself as being light, balanced, and happy and it last through the hustle and bustle of the Holidays.

I just wanted to write to you about my feelings of our week - long experience in Costa Rica.
I had a wonderful time with you and our group. It was definitely more than I expected. I originally came more for the Shamanic part of things. The trance dance aspect was new to me. I must say that the way that you incorporated everything together was very nice. It was good to experience new things and it has expanded my horizons.
The way you made us come together as a group in such a short amount of time was simply amazing. I have been in other groups before but have never felt so close to another group of people that were not my family.
I think that you are an amazing person Ernesto and I thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the amazing Trance Dance and Shamanic Soul retrieval in Costa Rica held in November 2006.
In one sentence I must admit that your work, your spirit and heart and the group you were able to pull together from all over the world transformed my life.
The experience was like a dream, of pure joy and connection, never in my life did I feel so connected to God- connected to spirit, to soul – animals- people- candles, rituals , tartaric energy, drumming and breathing and you- my teacher- Ernesto.
As I am writing this – I have tears in my eyes- for the pure joy
This retreat changed my life- I have to admit- more powerful than any sex, food, Landmark self development seminars, money, my move to America, my successes and failure- this surpassed them all- I were in a state of bliss carried with the wind- the entire 12 days.
I think I found my way of traveling, the combination of people, spirit, chakra work, dance and sight seeing was extraordinary. Next year- I am planning to join you, Ernesto and the group to Bali for 3 weeks in July..-cannot wait.
